I am a serving Police Officer of 26 years, with a background in Firearms, Public Protection and complex investigations.

When I am not running or doing Pilates, I really enjoys weekends away in my camper van which I affectionately call ‘Betsy’ with my obligatory glass of wine and often get tipsy in front of the campfire!

I became involved with The Thin Blue Line UK charity when I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Belfast Charity Ball where I played my part in badgering people to part with their hard earned cash for this amazing cause… I absolutely loved helping to raise money for this worthwhile charity on this night!

After attending the next ball in Manchester and attending the Warrior Week organised by the Thin Blue Line Denmark, I became passionately involved with the charity after meeting some truly heroic personalities and people who had been thorough some really rough times both physically and mentally. However, with the support of the Thin Blue Line they had come out the other side with a smile and an amazing appetite for life.

This humbling but inspiring experience had led me to become more involved with the Thin Blue Line UK, and I was honoured to take up the role as Trustee. I am more determined to put yet more smiles on faces of those currently suffering and in need of help.

I truly hope this charity will continue to grow from strength to strength and if you need us, just reach out and contact us here from our website today.
