Give in Memory

Honour a Loved One with a Lasting Legacy

Remembering a loved one by supporting the Thin Blue Line UK is a meaningful way to celebrate their life and values. Whether through a funeral collection, an online tribute page, or a gift in your Will; your support and that of your loved one does truly help us continue our vital work supporting police officers across the UK.

We’re honoured to receive these special donations and understand how difficult this time can be. To help, we’ve outlined three thoughtful ways to give in remembrance, along with guidance on how you can leave a gift in your Will.

Our dedicated resources are here to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible; but please do get in touch with us if you have any questions.

REMEMBRANCE COLLECTIONS

Many people prefer donations to be offered for a cause, instead of flowers being sent in memory. Organising a collection at a funeral or memorial service is a truly special way to honour the memory of a loved one, for a cause which was important to them. To help you, please contact us to order your 'Giving in Remembrance' envelopes, which you can give to your guests via those assisting you.

A MEMORIAL BALOON RELEASE

We know first-hand how close the thin blue line community is. This is why we created a way to allow people to come together to commemorate those who have passed away and served as a Police Officer, whilst also creating a legacy in their name. Our balloon release concept enables people to share memories, fundraise, reflect and release their balloons. Further details can be found below.

Memorial Balloon Release

We know first-hand how close the thin blue line community is and how the passing of a Police Officer can have a significant impact on those left behind, their loved ones, colleagues and even on the wider community. This is the reason why we  created a way to enable those left behind to come together, to support one another, share their happy memories, before reflecting and releasing their balloons.

Our Thin Blue Line UK Memorial Balloon Releases are free to anyone who is wishing to organise a release to memorialise a UK Police Officer who has served and unfortunately passed away. All we ask is that at your event that requests for donations are made to our charity, to help us to continue to support officers and our important work.

The balloons we post for use are made of a natural latex rubber and are environmentally friendly. We ask all organisers to commit to following our guidelines and code of conduct to ensure all releases are safe, whilst safeguarding the environment.
