1. RESEARCH & CREATE A PLAN
Have a good think of a habit you would like to give up or that personal challenge you'd like to complete. Give yourself enough time to prepare. Write and share a story around why you are fundraising (look at our 'About Us' page for inspiration).
2. START A FUNDRIASER
Set an ambitious but realistic funding target. Create an online fundraising page through "Just Giving" or "Facebook Fundraiser" to kickstart your journey. This will allow people to give you donations, whilst also allowing them to send you supportive messages too.
3. SPREAD THE WORD
Create posters and share your story and challenge via social media. Don't forget to share, share, share! Don't forget to tell us so we can assist you through our News & Socials. Consider telling your employers News & Comms team too.
4. GET GOING & KEEP US UPDATED
Get going with testing your inner self. Try also to have lots of fun! Take lots of photos and share them with us. Let us know how it went, we love being told! If you need some advice on how to send in your raised funds, please get in touch so we can help.

Create a Facebook Fundraiser, this allows people to donate safely and directly to your event via Facebook without going through a third party website. Useful for any virtual events you want to hold. This is free, no fees are taken by Facebook, Thin Blue Line UK will receive all the funds raised.
Set up a Just Giving Page
Create a Just Giving page for your event, to fundraise for Thin Blue Line UK. This site is classed as the world's most trusted platform for online giving. Useful to set up for any virtual events you want to hold. Just Giving do charge a payment processing fee of 1.9% + 20p on any donation.
