I am a serving Police Officer and a Neighbourhood Inspector in a busy metropolitan police force, which bring me lots of exciting challenges and the opportunity to work with some great people.

Over the years, I've held various frontline roles. I particularly enjoy working large-scale events. My career highlight to date was working at Eurovision 2023, and I am looking forward to hopefully working at the Euro's in 2028.

In my free time, I connect with nature to support my mental wellbeing, often climbing Snowdon or relaxing at a spa hotel near Appleby in the Lake District.

In October 2021, I was seriously assaulted on duty, requiring facial surgery. Following advice from my force’s Occupational Health Unit, I spent time at the Police Treatment Centre in 2022. One evening, while searching for a hot chocolate, I met Gary and Bev, who introduced me to the incredible work of Thin Blue Line UK.

That brief conversation with Gary and Bev was truly life changing. They were seeking a city for their next post-pandemic charity ball, and I suggested Liverpool. With their support, I helped organise the 2023 event at the iconic Liver Building, which raised over £10,000 and brought together local officers and charity guests for a memorable night. Following its success, I was honoured to become a trustee and now lead the planning of future fundraising balls with Bev and Gary, while also revamping the charity’s website and boosting Thin Blue Line UK’s social media presence.

I’m proud to support Thin Blue Line UK and deeply believe mental wellbeing deserves the same attention as physical health. It’s a privilege to work alongside a passionate team of trustees… each a friend… who are committed to supporting officers throughout the UK when in need. If you’re seeking support, want to fundraise, or simply want to learn more about the charity’s work, please get in touch.
