Here at Thin Blue Line UK, we are delighted to once again offer several fully funded places for serving and retired Police Officers to attend Police Week in Denmark this year. Officers from anywhere in the United Kingdom are welcome to apply, and we also welcome nominations from colleagues, friends, or family who wish to put forward an officer they feel would benefit from this opportunity.

Police week will run from Sunday 13th to Friday 18th September 2026.

Thin Blue Line UK is proud to continue our long-standing partnership with our sister charity, Thin Blue Line Denmark, by supporting UK Police Officers to attend Police Week. This annual event is dedicated to camaraderie, resilience, and recovery, and remains one of the most meaningful ways we assist officers who may need a helping hand.

Police Week brings together officers who have faced physical or mental health challenges, including trauma and PTSD, to share experiences, build friendships, and support one another in a positive and understanding environment. Participants will join colleagues from Denmark and the UK for a week of activities designed to inspire confidence, strengthen resilience, and foster lasting connections. Activities may include group challenges, outdoor pursuits, and social events, all aimed at encouraging recovery through shared experience and mutual support.

Thin Blue Line UK will fully fund every successful applicants travel to Denmark and our sister organisation Thin Blue Line Denmark will support with accommodation and wider costings too.

Thanks to all of our incredible supporters, we are proud that once again we are able to fund UK officers to take part in this unique and impactful initiative, continuing a tradition made possible through our fantastic relationship with Thin Blue Line Denmark.

Applications can be accessed via the buttons below and should include a 500-word summary outlining why you, or the officer you are nominating, may benefit by attending Police Week. Applications are open until 15:00hrs on Sunday 19th July 2026.

All nominations will be carefully reviewed and go through a structured assessment process. Due to the limited number of places available, only a select number of officers will be chosen to attend Police Week. We ask that all successful applicants and nominees confirm their availability to attend and travel during this period, to prevent any unnecessary costs being incurred by the charity.
