Thin Blue Line UK has thanked its incredible supporters after a simple Bank Holiday weekend social media post sparked an overwhelming wave of generosity, raising more than £2,500 to support police officers' mental health and wellbeing across the United Kingdom.

On the Saturday of the recent August Bank Holiday weekend, Thin Blue Line UK shared a social media post promoting its newly launched Thin Blue Line Ribbon Badge, a stylish design featuring the iconic blue ribbon alongside a subtle Union Flag detail. What followed exceeded all expectations. Within just 24 hours, supporters from across the policing family and wider community rallied behind the campaign, purchasing badges in such large numbers that the charity completely sold out of its initial stock.

The remarkable response generated more than £2,500 in sales, providing a significant boost to the charity's work supporting serving and retired police officers who may be facing mental health and wellbeing challenges.

Every penny of profit generated from badge sales is reinvested directly into services and initiatives that support officer wellbeing. The funds raised will help Thin Blue Line UK continue to provide a wide range of mental health and wellbeing support to officers throughout the UK, ensuring help is available to those who dedicate their lives to protecting their communities.

The popularity of the badge has, however, resulted in a temporary shortage. Due to unprecedented demand, the Thin Blue Line Ribbon Badge is currently out of stock, with the charity working closely with suppliers to replenish stock as quickly as possible.
