A Return to Where It All Began
The 2026 Gala Ball marks a significant return to Scotland, where Thin Blue Line UK first began hosting its fundraising events in 2017. Organisers have expressed their excitement about returning to Edinburgh, promising that this year’s ball will be their most spectacular yet.
Gary the Founder and a Trustee of Thin Blue Line UK, said “We are incredibly excited to be returning to Scotland and to Edinburgh, the place where our fundraising balls all began back in 2017. As a huge fan of the pipes myself, along with some of our fellow trustees, I can’t wait to be back in such an iconic setting. We are especially looking forward to welcoming colleagues from Police Scotland, as we have done at previous events, to share what promises to be a fantastic evening.
In the coming weeks, Jack, one of our Trustees, will be visiting Scotland as part of our ongoing wellbeing support to officers, as well as laying the vital foundations for this year’s ball. This will include connecting with local businesses for their support, as we have successfully done at previous events. This year is particularly special as we also have some exciting announcements coming in the months ahead about how we are helping and supporting colleagues in Scotland, further strengthening our commitment across the UK. Most importantly, the night will play a vital role in raising essential funds to support the mental health and wellbeing of police officers right across the UK”.
Supporting Police Wellbeing
At its core, the Gala Ball is about more than an elegant evening, it plays a crucial role in raising funds to support the wellbeing of police officers nationwide. Thin Blue Line UK continues to champion mental health awareness and provide support networks for those serving in policing roles, recognising the unique pressures faced within the profession.
High Demand Expected
With previous events selling out rapidly, early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment. The combination of a prestigious venue, a meaningful cause, and a well-established reputation makes this one of the most sought-after charity events of the year.
